Andrea received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 1995 with a Major in Psychology and a double minor in Sociology and Family and Child Development.  She received her Master of Education in 1997 from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was a school counselor in a middle school for four years and then decided to  earn a post graduate degree including her licensure. She completed these requirements through William and Mary and Old Dominion University.  Andrea obtained her license in 2003.

 

She worked part time for the local community services board for several years and started her private practice as well.  Andrea has been in private practice from 2003 to the present and sees children, adolescents, adults, families and couples.  Andrea is dedicated, compassionate and committed to helping her clients.  Andrea is married to Jerry, a sail-maker, and has two lovely children, Skylar and Henry.  Andrea's hobbies include sailing, cycling, swimming, weight lifting, walking, yoga, reading, consignment shopping, traveling and drinking coffee.
